The Road Safety Authority's received 20 formal complaints so far this year
It's way down on the 986 in 2019 due to tests being put on hold during the pandemic.
The Sunday Independent reports that among the complaints were accusations a tester "flinged" himself back after the car was breaking gently.
The driver in the north of the country said it happened at every stop sign and even before they'd left the test centre - when the car was only in first gear.
