Government ministers will be asked to sign off on financial supports for the victims of the Kerry mental health scandal on Tuesday.
The Gardaí are considering launching a criminal investigation, after receiving this week's report.
It found 46 children were 'significantly harmed' after being prescribed inappropriate medication, in South Kerry CAMHS.
Many patients are planning to sue the HSE - but Mental Health Minister, Mary Butler, says she wants to avoid that:
"My own preference is that these children and their families would not have to go through lengthy court cases. I believe they have already suffered enough. But I will be bringing to Cabinet on Tuesday a memo in relation to support to support these families. The memo will include some details that we are working out in relation to financial support."
