The Government has decided to reject a recommendation for it to be scrapped.
It was contained in the Future of Media Commission report, which is going before Cabinet this morning and will be published later.
Sinn Fein communication spokesperson, Ruairi O'Murchú, says everyone is eager to see its detail:
"There's a huge amount of more questions out there in relation to protecting print and radio. In fairness, I think a considerable amount of people have been thoroughly disappointed that they haven't seen it yet, so we just need to see it as soon as possible."
