A Government TD says it will be really difficult to decide who gets a pandemic bonus in the budget.
Ministers are examining how to reward frontline staff for their work during the pandemic.
More pay and extra time off are both being examined to reward frontline workers.
But Fine Gael TD Emer Higgins admits it's hard to define who exactly was a frontline worker:
"It's gonna be really, really difficult to do that and that's why it's so important that this budget, actually has a pandemic dividend for everyone. That it looks at improving workers rights, as well as economic growth, hand in hand. That we look at things like occupational pensions, like statutory sick pay."
