The Government's new guidance on nightclubs has been described as 'unnatural' in the Dáil.
While Taoiseach Micheál Martin says people need to get a sense of perspective on what's been announced.
Groups representing restaurants, hotels and pubs will meet Government officials at 3pm this afternoon to discuss the implementation of re-opening plans.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said he accepts details of the plan are still to be worked out - but says Government is reacting to an evolving situation: "I accept that the night-time economy sector haven't got great notice in relation to this but that's because of how things have evolved, and you use a good phrase there, it's not natural, Covid is not natural. There are many twists and turns with it, and it can, you know offset the best laid plans we thought, two weeks ago that we will be opening without restrictions. Okay. That has changed."
