The Green Party will meet Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael this morning to discuss forming a new government.
It's after the Greens' parliamentary party decided on Sunday to try to form a coalition with the two parties.
Party leaders Eamon Ryan, Leo Varadkar and Micheál Martin will meet today to decide on the structure of government talks.
But Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald says the coalition would be a disaster for the country.
"Obviously what the Green Party does or decides is a matter for the Green Party.
"It is absolutely clear that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael together haven't the capacity or the will to deliver the kind of things that Ireland is going to need, particularly now in a post Covid environment and when we look to try and build our economy."
