Healthcare workers are leaving the country in their droves, as they can't afford to live in Ireland.
That's according to Sinn Féin's Health Spokesperson David Cullinane, who's bringing a motion to the Dáil today, calling for more to be done to train and retain frontline staff.
A recent survey from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation found 65% of nursing graduates are considering emigrating.
Deputy Cullinane says qualified nurses working in cities are now looking further afield due to the housing crisis.
