Heroin worth 1-point-34 million euro has been seized in Limerick.
Gardaí carried out a number of searches today in Corbally and Clonlara as part of Operation Tara, targeting the distribution of controlled drugs in the Limerick area.
There were no arrests and the drugs have been sent for analysis.
In a further search at a separate location, Gardaí seized 12,500 euro in cash and arrested a man in his 40s at the scene.
He's being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
