The HSE admits it’s very concerned data from the cyber-attack will appear online today.
The criminals behind the hack have warned they will start uploading people’s private information if the 20 million dollar ransom isn’t paid.
The Government’s repeatedly ruled out paying the money.
The HSE’s Anne O’Connor says they just have to wait and see what happens today.
'We will be watching today to see what happens.
"We know that people have had concerns over the past weeks, and people have received calls either with actual information about them or people claiming to have information.
"Today we will be watching to see if information appears anywhere on the web. This is something that has been threatened, it may happen, and if it does we will have to see what action we can take."
