The HSE is warning that flu is actively circulating in the community, with 192 cases reported last week.
That's up from 170 the previous week.
The number of cases increased across all age groups, but particularly in the zero to 14 years age group.
The HSE is advising people in at-risk groups to get the flu vaccine, and says anyone who gets the flu should stay at home, rest, drink plenty of fluids and take over-the-counter medication.
