Increasing the income threshold for social housing is being looked at by the Government.
The Taoiseach says he's met councillors about the issue.
Mícheál Martin says the Housing Minister Daragh O'Brien is expected to announce more about it soon:
"This is a matter that has been kept under constant review in terms of increasing the income thresholds for social housing. And the Minister is examining it with a view to hopefully having an outcome to that shortly".
