Ireland's inflation rate was 8.2% in the year to September.
It's down slightly from August's rate, according to the CSO.
For the past year, measured inflation has been at more than 5%. The largest increases in the year to September were in housing, energy and transport, while there was a decrease in the cost of education compared to 2021.
Compared to August, the biggest jump in prices were in clothes, shoes, housing and energy.
The price of hotels, restaurants and transport all dropped last month.
