Gardaí are investigating after a truck reversed through the gates of the Russian Embassy in Dublin.
A man has been arrested.
This incident of criminal damage as described by Gardaí happened at around half past 1 this afternoon outside the Russian Embassy on the Orwell Road.
Footage shows a truck reversing through the gates of the embassy, and it remains there this afternoon.
Eyewitnesses say a number of cars were seen leaving the Embassy sometime before this incident happened.
The man who was arrested is being held at Rathfarnham Garda Station, while the road is closed to all traffic.
