An investigation is underway after an alleged assault on a young boy in Dublin.
It's reported the 11 year-old was attacked by a number of teenagers in Ballyfermot at around ten to seven last Friday evening.
He was taken to hospital for treatment after suffering facial injuries.
Posting on social media, the boy's mum claims he was dragged away from friends and attacked over a football.
