Ireland experienced its warmest Autumn on record in 2021.
In a review released to the Irish Times, Met Éireann revealed we had the warmest September ever recorded.
Autumn averaged a temperature of 12 degrees which was almost two degrees higher than normal.
It is the 11th year in a row in which temperatures were recorded above Ireland’s average.
