The Irish Cancer Society is going on the road again, bringing its free health check clinic to 30 locations around Ireland this year.
The charity is encouraging people to get 2023 off to a good start by prioritising their health.
The 'Your Health Matters' roadshow is aimed at cracking down on preventable cancers in the wake of the pandemic.
Director of Advocacy at the Cancer Society, Rachel Morrogh says if you notice any unusual changes in your body, don't delay in getting them checked out:
"Over the course of the pandemic, the Irish Cancer Society has been alarmed by the drop in the number of cancers diagnosed. So we established a service, led by cancer nurses, that travels around the country offering free health checks and discussing with the public what signs and symptoms people should not ignore. We do know that acting early on signs and symptoms of cancer can save lives".
