The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has expressed "grave concern" at the scale of redundancies announced by Accenture in Ireland.
It wants the professional services company to "engage with unions, who have rightly questioned the rationale behind these significant measures".
The company announced 400 job cuts in April and this week announced a proposed 890 job cuts.
ICTU says it's concerned Accenture is continuing to recruit staff, while announcing significant plans to make other staff redundant.
