Set realistic fitness goals, that's the advice from an Irish personal trainer this January.
Exercise and weight loss are among the most common New Year's resolutions, however many people struggle to maintain motivation.
Matthew Cooney, owner of MC Future Fitness says a long-term plan is the key to remaining consistent:
"Just make sure that you do something in January that you can see yourself doing in February, March and the rest of the year; because I think a lot of people get caught up with trying to do things that just aren't sustainable. And when it comes to, especially seeing results and progress, it's really going to be about consistency over time."
