Ireland will just have to dream of a white Christmas this year, as forecasters have ruled out the possibility of snow this festive season.
In its monthly forecast, Met Eireann expects high pressure to bring settled and dry weather from December 20th to 26th.
Temperatures are also likely to be slightly above average next month.
Cork meanwhile is set for warmer weather this week following the recent cold snap, with temperatures set to climb to 12 degrees from tomorrow.
