Junior Cert students who completed their exams this summer are expected to get a results date this week.
The Irish Times reports a final date for the grades could be announced as early as today or tomorrow.
It's understood most of the marking is completed, but officials say its continuing in a "small number of subjects".
Nearly 70,000 students who sat the exams are still waiting for their results and a shortage of examiners is among the reasons for the delay.
