The Junior Cert results will be released on the 18th of October.
Education Minister Norma Foley confirmed the news this morning after speaking with the State Exams Commission.
She revealed the news ahead of the Fianna Fáil think-in in County Tipperary:
"The State Examination Commission have confirmed to me that the Junior Cycle results will issue on the 18th October. And I want to thank them for their work. And I know that they're students the length and breadth of the country eagerly anticipating that date and indeed schools and school staff and that. The 18th of October has been confirmed to me".
