Olympic gold medallist Kellie Harrington will touch down in Dublin just after lunchtime today.
The world champion will be taken by open-air bus around Dublin's North Inner City and the City Council is urging only locals to line the streets.
The bus will also bring her down Portland Row, the North Inner City street on which she grew up.
Local resident Michelle Hanley says Kellie is an inspiration for the local area.
"It actually means absolutely everything. The community spirit.
"I have four kids myself, and my eldest said 'Ma, I think I'll go back to boxing'.
"Just watching Kellie the other day has been a real inspiration for him."
