This year's Leaving Cert results are likely to be released in late August.
Delays have been caused by a second sitting of exams for students with Covid, a pledge to ensure grades are no lower than last year, and a shortage of examiners.
Although the State Examinations Commission has yet to announce a date for the results, the Irish Times reports Government sources have indicated it will be late August as that would give just enough time for most students to commence college courses.
