It's after the State Exam was cancelled and instead a system of calculated grades was adopted.
CAO offers will be released on Friday, with points for popular courses expected to be inflated as a result of the record high grades achieved this year.
Meanwhile Education Minister Norma Foley has urged any student in doubt about their future to talk with their teacher or reach out for support.
