Those who have yet to file their Local Property Tax return can do so before the new deadline of Wednesday evening.
It was originally due to expire tomorrow, but has been extended after Revenue admitted the process can cause some stress for those unfamiliar with the system.
People are advised to file their returns online, through the Local Property Tax portal, on MyGov.ie or Revenue's online services.
However phone lines are open on an extended schedule for people who wish to contact Revenue in this way.
