A man in his 20s has been arrested following an attempted carjacking in Dublin.
It happened at the west pier car park in Dun Laoghaire at around 5.30pm yesterday.
A man in his 20s was assaulted and pulled from his car, however he managed to retrieve his keys and those involved fled the scene on foot.
Gardaí later detained a man in his mid-20's, and he has since been released without charge pending further enquires.
