A man in his early 30s has died after a road crash in Limerick.
It happened just outside of Rathkeale in the early hours of this morning.
Jonathan Byrne reports for RedFM News:
"The collision happened at around 10 to 3 this morning on the main N21 road between Rathkeale and Newcastle West at Killeheen.
A truck driver in his 30s was a fatally injured in the accident and was the only occupant inside the vehicle at the time.
Another man involved in the collision, who was driving a separate car, suffered non life threatening injuries.
The man, in his 50s, was brought to University Hospital Limerick in the aftermath of the crash.
The N21 is closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward."
