A man has appeared before court today in connection with a shooting in Dublin last week.
He's been charged with the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
"35-year-old Sam Archibald, of Commons Road in Clondalkin, was charged at ten past ten last night with unlawful possession of a point-38 calibre revolver with intent to endanger life, following a shooting in nearby Cherrywood Grove on April 8th.
He was further charged with unlawful possession of ammunition, including shotgun rounds.
Archibald made no reply when charged and was remanded in custody
He’ll appear before Cloverhill District Court next week - an application for legal aid was granted."
