A man has been killed following a shooting in north Dublin.
It happened in Finglas in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene in the Deanstown Avenue area of Finglas at around 4:30am.
There they discovered the man in his 20s with a gunshot wound - he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area's currently preserved for a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified - a post-mortem will be carried out.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to come forward.
