A man's being treated in hospital after shots were fired in Kimmage in Dublin.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after it happened at St. Martin's Park on Thursday.
A man was shot in Kimmage at around ten to 9 on Thursday night and he received a gunshot wound.
The 32 year-old was taken from the scene to St. James's Hospital for treatment for injuries which are non-life threatening.
No-one else was injured as a result of the gun being fired.
The scene has been technically examined.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to this to contact them.
Anyone who was the St. Martin's Drive, Poddle Park, Poddle Close and/or Bangor Road areas between 7pm and half 9 on Thursday night, and who may have mobile phone or dash cam footage, is asked to contact Gardaí.
