The managing director of Glenisk says goodwill from suppliers has helped get production back up and running.
The dairy company's factory near Tullamore was destroyed in a fire last September.
Yoghurt production, at the facility in Killeigh, resumed this week following a small-scale refurbishment.
But Managing Director of Glenisk, Vincent Cleary, says global supply chain issues have limited the range of products they can produce:
"We're waiting for some equipment then to arrive in the coming 10 days approximately, that will allow us start adding fruit to our natural yoghurt. So the global supply issues affect even a small player like ourselves, but in fairness to all of our suppliers, and I heard one director in Kingspan put out some kind of a memo internally, that if Glenisk came looking for a product, we were to be put first in the list, so that goodwill is just going right through our supply chain as well."
