Marquees are in place outside Dublin Airport this morning - in a new measure to deal with overcrowding.
It means people won't have to queue in the rain over the bank holiday weekend.
52,000 passengers will fly out of the airport today - and nearly 200,000 over the next four days.
President of the Irish Travel Agents Association, Paul Hackett, says last Sunday's chaotic scenes were appalling.
"I think we can only hope that there is no repeat of this.
"There would be a risk of reputational damage if it were to be repeated.
"The DAA effectively worked all week, so we have to go by the results we're seeing since the shambolic scenes of Sunday, and hope that this weekend will work effectively for everybody who is transiting the airport."
