Mary Immaculate College has announced an entrance scholarship in memory of Ashling Murphy.
The 23-year-old teacher was killed after being attacked while out for a run outside Tullamore, Co Offaly in January.
The €4,000 scholarship will be awarded to a first year primary teaching student at the college, for 'exceptional achievement and talent in the field of traditional Irish music'.
