The Sinn Fein leader says she doesn't think the Taoiseach should travel to the United States for St. Patrick's Day.
There's questions over whether Michael Martin will go to the White House this year due to Covid 19.
The trip is being backed by Ministers Simon Coveney and Paschal Donohoe as an essential journey.
But Mary Lou McDonald doesn't think it's necessary.
"I don't think anybody will be going anywhere until summer.
"And furthermore I don't think the Taoiseach should be heading transatlantically for St Patrick's Day."
