A meeting between the incoming Director General of RTE and the Media Minister has been brought forward to today.
It's after further revelations at an Oireachtas committee yesterday of lavish spending from a series of barter accounts.
Member of the Media Committee Imelda Munster says while we already know about the 2.2 million euro loss for Toy Show the Musical, the loan of a car by a staff member for five years, and a 5,000 spend on flip-flops, she fears more will emerge when forensic accountants go in.
"What we have established so far are the efforts that went to conceal the secret topi up payments. We've established the false invoices that were raised. We've established the funnelling of payments through the barter account. We've established the lavish extravagance.
"The greater detail will probably only come out when the forensic accountant comes in and goes through everything."
