It has issued an advisory warning for the entire country, warning of 'sharp to severe' frosts in parts as well as wintery showers
The warning will be in place from tomorrow afternoon until Friday night.
Cathal Nolan is from Ireland Weather Channel - he outlines what we can expect over the next couple of days:
"We will really notice the temperatures have dropped considerably by around Wednesday afternoon into Thursday and Friday. On these particular days the highest afternoon temperatures are only likely to range between about three to seven degrees celsius at best - warmest along the south coast where it will be most sheltered, but certainly bitterly cold temperatures by day. Then at night time where we see the winds easing and and falling light in places the temperatures could dip down to as low as -3 or possibly -4 degrees"
