Workers at Meta's Irish operations are expected to hear later if the company's latest round of redundancies will impact them.
In March, Facebook's parent company announced 10,000 jobs losses.
It follows 11,000 layoffs announced globally in November.
To date this year, 70 Meta employees in Ireland have lost their jobs.
Business Editor Joe Lynam says the latest job cuts will likely impact several of the 2,600 people employed here.
"The recruitment division jobs happened straight away in March, then there was tech group layoffs in April.
"Now at the end of May they have promised to announce the job losses in the business groups.
"There are more people employed in the business groups in the Irish operation, so we thing that more people will be impacted in Ireland than were impacted previously."
