The Minister for public spending says there's no consensus on how to reward frontline workers with a pandemic bonus.
Micheal McGrath says details of the package won't be ready in time for budget day.
The Minister didn't commit to when frontline workers may know what kind of bonus they'll be getting.
Michael McGrath admits there's differences of opinion in Government.
"I think it's fair to say there's not a consensus, there is a wide set of views in relation to it.
"That's not a reason to not address the issue, we will address the issue.
"We just need to give it very careful consideration."
