More first-time buyers are expected to qualify for government help, aimed at getting them on the property ladder.
Price caps for new homes under the First Home Scheme have been increased by 25-thousand euro to a maximum of 475-thousand euro in the likes of Dublin City, Cork City and Wicklow.
In total 30 of the 31 local authority areas will see increases.
The 400 million euro fund was set up to help first-time buyers to bridge the gap between their mortgage, deposit and the price of a new home.
