The European Central Bank has been hiking interest rates as it tries to combat inflation in the Eurozone.
Today its expected to announce its ninth increase in a year.
However there is growing speculation this will be the last for now.
Economist Austin Hughes is expecting an increase today of a quarter of one per cent:
"I'm afraid the ECB has signalled that it will raise interest rates by another 0.25% today, so anything other than that increase will be an extraordinary shock to markets and to myself".
