A multi-million euro renovation of the historic Queen's Old Castle in the city has been approved.
The plans include the partial demolition of the building to allow for office and retail development on the site on the Grand Parade.
The Irish Examiner reports that the plans include the conservation, refurbishment, alteration and change of use of the building, including it's partial demolition to allow for the construction of a mixed-use office and retail development, with the office block ranging in height from three to seven storeys in places.
