A leading national housing charity says landlords should not be demonised, despite the rate they're exiting the market.
Around 863 renters in cork were helped by Threshold's services, after receiving notices to quit from January to September.
The charity is calling on the Government to consider introducing longer-term leases, and tax breaks to keep landlords in the market.
Threshold's National Advocacy Manager, Ann-Marie O'Reilly, says it's a large sector that cannot be ignored.
