New analysis of the jobs market here shows salaries will mostly remain flat in 2024 following significant pay rises in recent years.
However Tracy Keevans from Morgan McKinley Ireland says those working in certain sectors could see a salary increase next year:
"The most in demand positions for 2024 will correlate with an increase in salary for those professionals. We see those areas mainly in technology, engineering, construction, some of the life sciences and financial services. For example, in construction right now Quantity Surveyors are in really high demand and they do command a premium when they become available in the marketplace".
