Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors Voted Overwhelmingly To Accept New Deal

Non-consultant hospital doctors have voted overwhelmingly to accept a new deal which tackles unsafe working hours and difficulties in getting paid.

The deal was negotiated by the Irish Medical Organisation and the HSE.

The vote by the country's junior doctors also gives the green light for negotiations on an entirely new contract, which will get under way in January.
