Large crowds gathered in the area following the All Ireland hurling final, sparking anger from the entertainment industry.
Gardaí inspected a number of pubs in the area and is investigating alleged breaches of Covid regulations at one of these premises.
Justin Green from the Event Industry Alliance says it's frustrating to see the crowds when the industry is virtually closed:
"But we were delighted to see thousands of people at Croke Park yesterday. A lot of our sector is deeply involved with the GAA, and a lot of other national sporting organisations. All we want for our event industry is an equal playing field, and I don't think after 18 months of the whole sector being in the deep freeze it's too much to ask."
