The Oireachtas Media Committee is set to invite Facebook Whistleblower Frances Haugen to speak in the Spring.
Ms. Haugen made explosive claims about Facebook in sessions to US, and then UK politicians.
She told members of Congress in America, and members of Parliament in Britain that the company is 'making hate worse,' something it's always denied.
She's accused the platform both here and in the US of putting profits first - which it denies.
It comes as the report for the upcoming Online Safety and Media Regulation Bill is due to be published this week.
