Only 26,000 healthcare workers have received their pandemic bonus.
Figures in the Irish Independent show that's about a quarter of the number who are supposed to get it.
The payment of up to 1,000 euro was promised to healthcare workers who dealt with the worst of the pandemic in 2020 and last year.
Each amount is estimated per worker based on their contracted hours at the time.
