Over 200 people a day are being added to already record high hospital waiting lists.
That's according to analysis by the Irish Hospital Consultants Association, printed in the Independent.
It's despite the Government's efforts to bring down the wave of extra demand for public hospitals.
The HSE believes there will be over 724,000 people on waiting lists for specialist surgery, an appointment or a gastro intestinal scope by the end of 2021.
