Over 61 per cent of workers are more likely to choose a job that offers flexible working conditions.
That's the finding of a new Jobs Expo survey which shows most Irish workers are in favour of a hybrid working model.
It comes as Jobs Expo Galway gets underway at Leisureland at 10am.
Event Director of Jobs Expo, Kevin Brannigan says more people want flexibility since Covid:
"If we go back to pre-Covid, 1 in 15 professionals considered a combination of office-based and remote working a decisive factor when applying for a job. However, the latest survey shows that that has now risen to nearly two thirds of workers who will consider it to be a major factor when looking for a job. And in fact, 6 in 10 are more likely to choose a job that offers remote and flexible working conditions".
