Over 904,000 people are on a hospital waiting list, according to new data released this evening.
That includes over 644,000 waiting for their first outpatient consultation.
Nearly 75,000 are waiting for an inpatient or day case treatment.
The total figure is down nearly 6,000 from a month ago.
